I've been waiting for this one since I first heard about it from Celeste :-p I've played around on xtra xtra a bit, and I must say, I like all the "xtra" info in addition to the milestones - like automatically linking to local newspapers and tv stations under the local news bit, and having the weather. When Celeste first told me about the site, I figured it was just a list of announcements - it's actually a nice collection of local info!
I just checked out xtra xtra. Very fun little site. I love that you can link to your schools and local media with your posts. Very cool!

I just checked out xtra xtra's site. It struck me as very similar as the function the local news paper used to have when I was a kid. Since I have not read an actual news paper, local or otherwise, for many years, but get all my news online, it is a neath service!

I liked the concept of this site. I did have a bit of trouble when trying to search by school. The drop down box appeared in the middle of the screen. It made it a bit difficult. Overall it was a nice experience.
I visited xtra xtra and was quite impressed. I liked the colors, layout and the ease of finding what I was looking for. I will definitely be a regular visitor. ;)

I Visit xtra xtra by clicking on the button. I LOVE This site! Tell you why... I live in GA now but used to live in NY! I think this is a GREAT way to get the scoop on the people back home in my town on Long Island! I put my Long Island Zip code in and all the Weddings, engagements, Obituaries etc just popped right up! I would LOVE to see my old High school added but I BET in a few months it will be!

I found xtraxtra very easy to use and I think that it's a great way to keep up with going on in my hometown (since I live 1700 miles away). I saw that one of my friends mom passed away (I wouldn't have known if I hadn't gone via your link), so I need to call her. I'm keeping it in my favorite places, so I don't miss anything going on back home.
